How we collect, use, disclose, transfer and protect personal data, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia).

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data processed by us in the course of providing money broking services, operating this website, marketing our services and complying with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We are bound by the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia ('PDPA') and observe the seven PDPA principles: General, Notice and Choice, Disclosure, Security, Retention, Data Integrity and Access.

3. Categories of Personal Data We Collect

We may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification data: full name, date of birth, nationality, government-issued identification numbers and document images.
  • Contact data: residential address, email address, telephone number.
  • Financial data: source of funds, employment status, tax residency, bank account details, trading history and account balances.
  • Compliance data: information collected for AML/CFT, sanctions and PEP screening purposes.
  • Technical data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, log files, cookies and other usage analytics collected via our website and platforms.

4. Purposes of Processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Account opening, client onboarding and identity verification.
  • Provision of money broking and execution services.
  • Compliance with AML/CFT, sanctions and tax-information-exchange obligations.
  • Risk management, fraud prevention and information security.
  • Communication with you regarding your account, transactions and service updates.
  • Marketing, where you have provided consent and have not subsequently opted out.
  • Compliance with lawful requests from regulators, law enforcement and courts.

5. Disclosure of Personal Data

We may disclose your personal data to: our liquidity providers, banking partners and payment service providers; identity-verification, sanctions-screening and AML/CFT service providers; cloud and IT service providers; auditors, external legal counsel and tax advisers; the Labuan FSA, Bank Negara Malaysia and other competent authorities; and any third party where required by law or to enforce or defend our legal rights.

6. Cross-Border Transfer

Where personal data is transferred outside Malaysia, we put in place safeguards consistent with the PDPA, including contractual obligations on overseas processors to maintain a level of protection equivalent to that required under Malaysian law.

7. Retention

Personal data is retained for the duration of the business relationship and for a minimum of six (6) years thereafter, or longer where required by AML/CFT or tax record-keeping rules.

8. Security

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration and unauthorised access, in line with the Labuan FSA Guidelines on Technology Management and on Technology and Cyber Risk Management.

9. Your Rights under the PDPA

You may exercise the following rights, subject to applicable exemptions:

  • Request access to personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Withdraw consent to direct marketing at any time.
  • Limit the processing of personal data in specific circumstances.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Department (Jabatan Perlindungan Data Peribadi).
